Games: Will be half –ice with the small nets and no goalies to start with. There will be 20 minute run-time. The sessions will start with a 10 minutes free skate with no pucks as the bumpers and nets are being set up. Then games will begin with a simple round-robin on two “rinks”. The final five minutes of the session will be tear down.
The coaches will simply rotate the kids through on an approximate one minute “shifts”. At the end of the minute the coach will simply yell to stop play, or use a whistle if they prefer. Those shifting in will then skate to the middle for a “face-off”, and those not playing will sit on the bumpers.
Note that many players will miss as they travel with their families as their older siblings play. The jerseys will be handed out at the first session. Please hang on to them and turn them in when the season is completed.
